Recently I found myself, once again, at my favorite store, World Market, trying to get inspiration for an Easter tablescape. World Market is just full of Easter decor this time of year and it wasn't long before my creative juices started flowing and my cart was full of goodies to set the perfect table.
This sweet bunny with his hands full of carrots was my jumping off point.
Usually my holiday tables are more formal. You may remember the Easter table I set last year, seen here. This year, I decided to set a fun table, full of greens and bright oranges, like the bunny's carrots.
I started with a green tablecloth from World Market, as it reminded me of Spring green grass. I've had the square orange dinner plates for years and I love how they frame the bunny dish perfectly!
I knew I wanted to use the terrarium that was a Christmas gift from Mr. B for the centerpiece. I spied the cute wooden bunny, fishing for carrots, staring at me, begging me actually, and had to bring him home! He fit perfectly, and surrounded by some of the carrots he "caught", he makes a sweet focal point on the table.
He has a couple of bunny helpers to help carry his carrots too! As well as a pair of smaller bunnies with their own tiny carrots.
The World Market wooden bunny napkin rings each have a carrot of their own too.
No one goes hungry at my table, not even bunnies!
Mr. B fell in love with this little egg holder from World Market. Once it gets closer to Easter we will dye some eggs and I will put them in this carrier.
I also found these little take out boxes at World Market. I used some orange basket filler and placed green and orange foiled covered chocolate eggs in each as little take away gifts.
I had some little ceramic lambs in my stash and I just knew they'd be a cute unexpected addition to the table.
Doesn't he just make you smile? Me too!
I had so much fun setting up this holiday table thanks to all of the inspiration I found at World Market!
