I started with a pastel yellow tablecloth I have had forever and the lavender mesh became the runner. I then added a purple charger from Michael's, a white ironstone dinner plate, a salad plate I got on clearance from Safeway, a napkin that matches the tablecloth, my favorite wire baskets from Coldwater Creek, a plastic egg and some faux Spring flowers.
The salad plates have the perfect shade of lavender embossed Fleur De Lis at the top along with embossed stitching around the edge.
The tablecloth and napkin have embroidered flowers on them.
The wooden centerpiece Mr. B made for me makes another appearance. It adds such wonderful texture to the table. I had found some of the limited addition purple Ball jars and filled a couple with grocery store daffodils. Several bud vases from IKEA hold more faux stems.
Linda, my mother-in-law, was at Home Goods recently and saw the sweet glass basket and covered bunny dish, bought them, and then gifted them to me. She said when she saw them, she knew I could use them in a tablescape sometime. Perfect timing I'd say, wouldn't you? I filled them with Easter jelly beans and chocolate Easter eggs. I had to snap photos quickly as Mr. B could not keep his hands out of them lol!
The wine stems are from Goodwill and the flatware comes from World Market.
The ceramic purple strawberry basket from Wayfair hold some more candy and finishes off the table.
Lavender and yellow, such complimentary colors to set an Easter table with. What colors will be on your Easter table this year?
