And while you're at it, can you address the folks who pin but don't link to the actual page that the pin came from? I know it's easy to do that accidentally, but it's sort of annoying to think you have a found a great recipe on pinterest only to discover that it goes to the blog home page instead. Just thought I'd mooch on your post and add that.
Thank you, Kathe!! This is a huge pet peeve of mine, too. Not only for the resons you stated, but they take away from the pin itself and make things messy.
I recently had this happen to me--the entire recipe plastered right there. Thought about leaving a comment to the pinner b/c it really cheesed me off, but on the other hand I do appreciate that she pinned in the first place. Hmmm. I do agree with you though!
It's kind of sad that you have to actually tell people this kind of stuff. Maybe they don't get the concept of Pinterest. You said it very well though, I must say :o) Hope you're having a great week otherwise!
These people are driving me crazy! I think some are just clueless and think they are helping others out so they don't HAVE to visit the blog. I really wish pinterest would put a word limit on pins so that this wouldn't happen anymore! Have a wonderful day Kathe :)
I agree! Even if the recipe is in the description, I still go to the site. I like to see the progress pictures and the full instructions. I know that some people never click on the post.
