Please Welcome My Guest - Jess

My friend Jess offered to help with a guest post while we are moving this month.  Please give Jess a warm welcome!

Hello all! I'm Plucky from Plucky’s Second Thought…but most call me Jess. :) Why "Plucky" you may ask? Well, it was a nickname when I was younger and it was one that was never forgotten! At Plucky’s Second Thought I try to post easy craft projects and recipes that anyone could accomplish. Yep, you don’t have to be Martha Stewart or Rachael Ray to attempt anything on my blog! There are also a variety of travel and product reviews as well as some awesome giveaways and link parties! :)
What family doesn't love a good Pork Chop? However, if you're like me and like to spice up your chops every now and then, then THIS is the recipe for you! :) I'm normally the one that likes to use BBQ sauce on every type of meat, but there is no need when you try this recipe! :) It's EASY, YUMMY, and something you'll probably be making the next time you have Pork Chops! :) ENJOY!
Glazed_Pork_Chops
Glazed Pork Chops Ingredients:
  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp mustard
Directions:
  • Sprinkle both sides of the pork chops with salt and pepper.
  • Place chops in a skillet on medium high heat.
  • In a small bowl combine brown sugar, onion, chili powder, garlic powder and mustard.
  • Once the chops are slightly browned on both sides, spread mixture on both sides.
  • Continue to cook in skillet until chops are cooked through.

  2. That DOES look good! And since we raise cows and pigs, I just happen to have some pork chops in the freezer. Guess what tomorrow night's dinner is?
