A week or so ago I had dinner with Ms K and
she mentioned that I hadn't posted about my china hutch in awhile.
She was right! I hadn't since at least Valentine's Day.
I mean I always have it decorated up for the seasons but
I guess I just forgot to take pictures.
It sits in the breakfast room area between the kitchen
and the family room.
It's just such a part of the room I kinda set it up
and then forget about it.
Sad really, as I was so excited when I found her on Craigslist!

So, I will remedy that now and show her off to you today.
You may remember when I used the rooster plates on my
early last month.
I loved them so much I decided to keep them out
and used them in my display.
I layered them with the dinner plates,
also from that table.
In the back I placed chargers I had
purchased from Hobby Lobby,
on clearance, a few months ago.
Expect them to play a part in a tablescape soon!
Expect them to play a part in a tablescape soon!
For the lower shelf I used
a set of Royal Stafford salad plates
I bought on sale from Home Goods.
I also just couldn't put the vintage
sugar and creamer away so into the hutch they went too, along
with a few of my favorite Godinger Shannon goblets.
In the center sits one of the over sized dinner plates
from my thrifting adventure
back at the first part of July.
You may kind of recognize the autumn frame
from here.
There was a short window in the weather
where it wasn't too hot or windy
so I ran outside with it and spray painted it
Heirloom White!
Right now it is the only homage to the upcoming season
that I have on display.
In the next week or so I plan on sweetly begging asking
Mr. B to get the Fall bins from the rafters of the
garage down for me and the hutch will
be re-dressed in browns, auburn and yellows.
I promise I won't let so much time pass to show her off again!

How nice to have a cabinet, er hutch, to change with the season. My cabinets are all closed fronts so there's no opportunity there to change things around.
ReplyDeleteThe Cabinet is great as well as your dishes!! Thank you so much for linking up at
