I loved the "bubbled" look but not the color. For 50 cents I figured it worth buying and upcycling it into something more my style. I got out my white spray paint and my new spray paint station (an old box from the garage) and gave it a few coats.
I love how it now looks like a vintage hobnail vase!
I picked up some marked down flowers from the grocery store (I spent under $5.00 for a dozen beautiful red roses! Crazy right?) as well as a patriotic placemat and it sits so prettily on the dining room table for the upcoming July 4th holiday!
Yes! Definitely more my style and at hardly any cost to me at all! How about you? Have you upcycled a garage sale find lately?
