Since we have been cooped up inside due to our unseasonably wet Spring, I have been in full blown Spring cleaning and decorating mode!  One of my favorite spots to decorate for the changing seasons is the fireplace mantel. With perfect timing, I was also challenged by Renuzit Pearl Scents to spruce up a small area of my home!

The tall blue vase is actually one that my MIL found and fell in love with.  It will be going with her when she finds her new home.  I alway love the decorative plates I find there and, although this one goes perfectly with the vase, it stays with me LOL.  

I also scored the blue mercury glass decorative lantern with a beachy rope handle as well as the beachy sign.  Even though we are thousands of miles from any sandy beach, I chose to make it the theme of my mantelscape. 

I love the watery effect these two plates have! I can see using the clear one for other holidays too!
