I am just in love with this room still! It's just so BIG! And it is doing its job well in storing a ton of my tablescaping and decor props too!
But you must admit, as I did, it's not pretty. It needed some extra touches. So, I hit up Cost Plus, Hobby Lobby and Home Depot and added some decor, perfect for a laundry room.
On the right you will see Mr. B added even more cupboards for me! Spoiled? Me? Maybe just a smidge lol! But, let's take a look at the left side of the window shall we?
I moved the WASH sign I had made for the laundry room in our previous home from by the window onto this wall. I then purchased a shelf and brackets from Home Depot and had Mr. B put it up for me. Yes I could have put it up myself but, I really wanted it level and Mr. B is way morepatient precise than I am when it comes to those little details.
On the shelf I placed a cute handled cleaning bin from the laundry room collection at Cost Plus. I loved it the instant I saw it. The shape, the color, I knew I had to have it. I also got the vintage clothes pins from the collection and placed them in one of my large canning jars topped with some cute gingham material.
The adorable laundry room sign I got on sale from Hobby Lobby.
I loved the saying even though I think Mr. B has done maybe one load of laundry since we got the new washer and dryer a year ago lol! I cut some material I had on hand into a strip and used it to hang the sign. A nice unexpected pop of fun color, yes?
I will be on the look out for some more cute vintage and eclectic laundry room decor to add to the wall. My biggest goal/ score would be to find some vintage wooden and wire hangers. Or, a toy sized vintage ironing board. Or...well you get what I am going for here right? Wish me luck in my hunt!

ReplyDeleteIt's so bright and cheery Kathe!
ReplyDeleteKathe I love the colors you are using in the laundry room. The little sign is very cute! Yes you are spoiled with all those cupboards, but you deserve it for sure! Hugs, Linda
ReplyDeleteOh you are so lucky to have such a great laundry room. My w/d is in the garage, ugh - I HATE IT! But can't think of a way to spiff it up any. Love it.
ReplyDeleteMary
Love your new additions to your laundry room Kathe. Especially all the cabinetry - you can never have too many.... Cathy
ReplyDeleteThis is a darling laundry room. I wish my washer and dryer had its own room rather than the basement, so I could do something cute like this!
ReplyDeleteLove it especially the sign! So bright and cheery!
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday!
Super cute! I'm jealous of such a huge space!
ReplyDeleteI love everything about it, from the size and shape to the decor. Wonderful room!
ReplyDeleteVery cute! It will be fun to find the other things you're looking for. I always have the mr. Hang my pics and shelves- otherwise there would be a lot more holes than necessary! I'm envious of your counter space and storage in that room!
ReplyDeleteWow! That is one whopper of a laundry room - I am so jealous, I think mine was built for a Barbie doll, it is that small. Love your cute touches - especially the metal cleaning bin. Jane
ReplyDeleteI am drooling over your space. Love all the touches you added and the color choices. Isn't it great when hubby's are handy?!!
ReplyDeleteI love that self-service sign!
ReplyDeleteLove the space! We are having laundry room and bath in same space, so almost every inch is in use :-)
ReplyDeleteI love your laundry room and the awesome decor you've added.
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! I live in a small apartment, and I can't wait to move back to the states to finally live in a house. Good job on the decoration! Found you through sits girls Facebook group
ReplyDeleteYour laundry room looks great.
ReplyDeleteKathe, your HUGE laundry room is so awesome! You could fit five of mine in yours, ha ha. I love how you're decorating it. That jar with the clothes pins is really cute. All of it's cute! Take care - Dawn @ We Call It Junkin.com

Love this room, the space is amazing! Great Wash sign. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice big laundry room! You've inspired me to get on to mine.
ReplyDeleteWhat's not to love in this huge laundry room! I love all of the cabinet space and your cute laundry room decor. I have a laundry closet. Hmm, I think I have a twinge of envy.
ReplyDeleteWow, you laundry room looks like a room in your house. Mine is plenty big, but it's always cluttered. I may have the hubby to thank for that.
ReplyDeleteWanna come revamp my place?
ReplyDeleteLove the new decor and wow, that laundry room is a dream. Thanks tons for linking to Inspire Me. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful space, Kathe! My belief is that you can never ever have too much storage, so the added wall cabinets were a must! Love your little shelf and it's pretties!
ReplyDeleteI love it! I have been wanting to spruce up my laundry room for some time now. I need to do it!
ReplyDeleteHave to admit I'm so envious of your fantastic laundry room. We have what could only be called a closet with washer/dryer in it. It's in one side of our mud room in our mfg. home. We have a single wide 16x80. Not what I wanted but at least it's our place on almost 1/2 acre out in rural area west of Grand Junction, CO. It was a bit of a shock when we moved here from KY how much places go for here.
ReplyDeleteYour laundry room decorations are super, love them all. That little green bucket with handle is adorable. No Cost Plus here so I'd have to get it online. I love it all. Should be fun looking for laundry room embellishments. You could maybe make some of your own. My hubs would have hung the shelf also as he doesn't think I could do it. Whatever. Your room is so big, and all that storage? wow are you ever lucky. Happy week
Love your new additions! How lucky you are to have such great counters and cabinet space. Have fun in your new space.
ReplyDeleteWow! What a nice laundry! So big and with lovely decorative details! Thanks for sharing it!

Such simple changes, but brings "you" out in the laundry room. Really adore it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great space, Kathe! I totally need one of those signs :)
ReplyDeleteI had to pin this lovely laundry room makeover that I love.
ReplyDeleteI am drooling over your laundry room! No seriously...that is quite the space and I love your touches you added. I might even like doing laundry if my laundry room looked like that! If you are wondering why I am so excited...it is because where I live in coastal CA laundry rooms are hard to come by.
ReplyDeleteCute! My laundry room is okay. Yours is definitely better. We plan to convert mine into a laundry room/office for me, so hopefully it turns out pretty nice too!
